Knowledge acquisition for intelligent product manuals

Abstract This paper describes an agent-based system that automates the procedure of collecting new fault data and creating new knowledge bases from that data. The agent system is an improvement on the conventional labour-intensive process of collecting and integrating new data into knowledge bases for intelligent product manuals.
