타이어 설계인자에 따른 EPS 조향 성능 영향도 분석 시뮬레이터 개발

This paper presents on approach to optimize vehicle handling performance analysis simulator for EPS(Electric Power Steering) vehicle. This is applied to the tire design parameter for determine the effect of EPS vehicle steering stability. The verification experiment involved the vehicle test and simulation, and the test results was compared with three different tires and two driving conditions respectively. It is found that the some tire design parameters are affected by handling performance. Also, the results of vehicle test and simulation show that the similar tendency, and we have identified the handling performance impact of EPS vehicle in laboratory without proving ground vehicle test, according to the change of tire design parameter. The proposed method produces more accurate results and enables the development engineer to develop suitable tire in the early pretesting phase.
