Utilisation des surfaces de réponse dans le calcul de la fiabilité des composants mécaniques

FORM/SORM methods are efficient, under some conditions, to compute the reliability of mechanical components. If the mechanical model is complex, so the assessment of the reliability could lead to large computation time. An iterative response surface method is proposed, in this paper, to reduce the number of mechanical computations. The building of experimental designs takes into account the nonlinearity of the probabilistic transformation and the previously done mechanical computations. Criteria are introduced to verify the quality of the response surfaces, and consequently the results of FORM/SORM methods. The proposed method is applied to a bimetallic sheet, that contains a crack close to the interface. The sheet is submitted to a traction and a thermic load. The random variables concern the intensity of the traction, some properties of the two materials and the geometry of the crack. The influence of the different uncertainties is studied.
