The tip of the iceberg: Mental health screening of young people in youth detention in Ireland

This paper outlines and discusses an audit of the mental health screening profiles of young people admitted to youth detention in Ireland between April 2014 and June 2016. The study found high rates of alcohol/drug use, trauma and mental health difficulties.
