Label-free mid-infrared photothermal spectroscopy and imaging of neurological tissue

We present mid-infrared photothermal spectroscopy for label-free characterization of various healthy and diseased brain tissue types in a mouse model. The photothermal spectroscopy and imaging results allow to quantitatively distinguish between different tissue types.
