RADIATION AND THE AGEING EYE *

Revue de la litterature sur les changements oculaires lies a l'âge. L'auteur souligne egalement les conditions oculaires qui peuvent etre causees par une exposition aux radiations optiques, ou dont l'apparition peut etre influencee de maniere significative par les radiations. L'absorption des differentes longueurs d'onde par les differents milieux oculaires et les effets de cette absorption sont exposes. Le vieillissement des differentes parties du globe est detaille en insistant sur le role que peuvent jouer les radiations dans le developpement de ce processus
