On stability analysis of butterfly arch bridge

Taking the butterfly arch bridge of Chanba ecological area of Xi'an as the engineering background,the paper calculates the stable safety coefficient of the bridge by establishing the finite element calculation model,the dead load condition of the various design parameter and the instability characteristic value of the dead load and the live load condition,and proves the stiffness of the arch rib has the determined role of the stability,and illustrates the layout forms of the suspender can change the in-plane stiffness of the arch rib.
