Rapid Prototyping for Web-Mediators: Integrating Distributed Knowledge using Vivid Agents

In this article we show how vivid agents can be used to explore the enormous wealth of information provided by the WWW. We show how the agents reactive and pro-active behaviour can be specified to answer queries with knowledge distributed both horizontally and vertically over different knowledge bases.
