Apparatus and method for prediction of abnormal behavior of object

The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for predicting abnormal behavior of an object. An apparatus for predicting abnormal behavior of an object according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a video reception unit; a database which stores a normal behavior model; a memory in which an abnormal behavior prediction program for an object has been stored; and a processor which executes the abnormal behavior prediction program. In this case, the processor, in response to execution of the abnormal behavior prediction program, recognizes the target object from video data input via the video reception unit and predicts abnormal behavior of the target object by using the video data based on the recognized target object and the previously generated normal behavior model. Furthermore, the normal behavior model is generated based on unit behavior and movement trajectories of an object extracted from a plurality of pieces of video data collected for generation of a behavior model and is stored in the database.
