Finite Element (FE) Human Head Models / Literature Review

Road accidents claim thousands lives of pedestrians in the world every year, so the subject of pedestrian protection at collision of the most important topics of interest to researchers and modern car designers, so the researchers began to design friendly cars by using FE simulation to perform the tests required for this design and build models for this purpose to reduce the expenses of these tests and get results more quickly and close to reality. This research aimed at a review the types of FE head models which is considered the most vulnerable part which exposed to the fatal injury and designed by companies, universities are used in the tests required to be achieved design of the front of vehicle.
