Table-Driven Architectures For Real-Time Image Processing

The article describes a system able to process gray-level image data of a high spatial resolution at a high speed. A large number of data reduction algorithms are implemented by means of a table driven architecture. This allows the use of the system in a broad range of automatic visual inspection problems and other areas such as robot vision.
