Study on measurement of link communication quality in wireless sensor networks

Firstly,the measurement based on mean RSSI and LQI was suggested by analyzing the disadvantages of tradi-tional link measurement,and the more accurate information of link communication quality can be gained by measuring and computing the mean RSSI and LQI,secondly,different experiments with changed transmission power,hardware calibration,dynamic environments and concurrence interference had been tried to analyze the performance of the meas-urement based on the mean RSSI and LQI,at last,the sensitivity of link measurement had been defined,and the sensitiv-ity values of the mean RSSI and LQI were computed,then a comprehensive weight between RSSI and LQI was made for measurement of link communication quality and performance evaluation in WSN.
