An Adaptive Spatial Domain Color Image Watermarking Technique Based on Human Visual System

In this paper, an adaptive spatial domain color image watermarking technique based human visual system is proposed. By still image compression coding technique, color space transformation, and human visual system (HVS), the digital watermark (gray image) can be embedded adaptively into the color host image in our watermarking algorithm. The proposed algorithm can extract the watermark without the help from the original image. Experimental results show that the proposed watermarking scheme is invisible and robust against various signal processing such as cropping, compression, filtering, noise adding, image enhancement, and mosaic.
