Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting

This paper is an introduction of the OAI protocol for metadata harvesting.Firstly its about history and development of OAI-PMH.Then it is the main technical idea of OAI-PMH.The main part of the paper is how to implementing the protocol.At the end of the paper some projects using the OAI-PMH are introduced.
