This document contains the proceedings from the International Conference on Personal Rapid Transit held in 1975. The purpose of the book is to document some of the more significant progress which has been made toward the development of personal rapid transit (PRT). The book contains the following sections: progress reports on European and Japanese systems; new system program perspectives; evaluation of PRT applications; social and community impacts; service concepts, system operations and control; urban structures of PRT; and, safety reliability, and service dependability.
