Simulation Study of Frequency Modulation in Shengsi DC System

Shengsi side of DC transmission system from Luchaogang to Shengsi is small island power network,where too large frequency difference fluctuation would appear under the impact load,even disintegrate accident in power network.The paper put forward some methods to improve FM performance of Shengsi side,such as optimizing operation mode of DC system,using DC voltage and frequency control,etc,and made a simulation studies to it through actual equipment of modification system in RTDS simulation system and Lusheng DC control and protection system.The allowed maximum range of impacting range was given in optimal operation and different basic load,when AC system frequency of Shengsi side was controlled at 50±1.0Hz.
