Outil numérique pour analyser et dimensionner une conception innovante de pare-blocs sous impacts rocheux

In this article, a numerical tool is presented for the analysis and design of an innovative rock-shed concept named Structurally Dissipating Rock-shed (SDR). This tool has been developed in order to correctly predict SDR structural response under different impacts, it allows taking into account the interaction between rock block and SDR structure during impact. The major interest of this tool is its easy ability for estimating the input parameters without ambiguity. Furthermore, the numerical results are conservative with a limited security margin.
