Inner Bolted Type의 각형강관기둥-End plate 접합부의 휨내력 ( Flexural Strength of SHS column-End plate joint in Inner Bolted Type )

Developing a new type of H beam to SHS column resisting connection which has sufficient strength, rigidity and ductility as well is the objective of this research. This connection is a kind of end -plated, high strength bolted moment connection directly fastened to the column wall. Analytical prediction of the maximum strength are made by means of the yield line theory. They are compared with experimental values and the optimum proportioning of this connection system which can exhibit the reasonable strength is suggested.
