Electron paramagnetic resonance of Mn2+ in CuGaS2

The electron paramagnetic resonance of Mn2+ has been observed in three different environments in CuGaS2. Designated MnI, MnII and MnIII, they are interpreted respectively as: (i) Mn2+ ions substitutional at a Ga site: (ii) Mn2+ ions substitutional at a Cu site; and (iii) Mn2+ ions substitutional at a Cu site with a next-nearest-neighbour Cu vacancy.
