The mobile node is a mobile node performing contention based communication, including: a communication unit; and a retransmission determination unit determining whether to retransmit a data packet signal to a receiving node by means of the communication unit, wherein the retransmission determination unit determines whether to retransmit the data packet signal to the receiving node using the distance between the mobile node and the receiving node, and the transmittable distance of the data packet signal through the communication unit.
