Artificial Bladder Sphincter Implants for Treating Urge Urinary Incontinence

Causes of urinary incontinence in males are discussed. Various artificial sphincter implantation techniques are considered. Particular attention is focused on some models of the Scott artificial urinary sphincter. The main requirements for the implantable device and its application are discussed. The construction of the first domestic sphincter A-1 is described.
