Design of Digital Heart Rate Monitor Based on FPGA

This paper introduces a method to design a digital heart rate monitor based on field-programmable gate array(FPGA).The electrical signal of pulse is collected by the pulse transducer,after the pre-processing and A/D conversion,the signal is given to the FPGA for data storage and processing.The monitor has the functions of real-time monitoring and displaying the heart rate parameters,automatic alarm.The system has advantages in anti-jamming and integration with easy expansion.
