Approach to the Adaptive Control of a Solar Plant

Abstract This paper deals with the applicability of a specific on-line identification technique of an experimental pilot solar energy plant using recursive algorithms implemented on a microcomputer. The suitability of the LS and GLS recursive identification algorithms is analyzed referring to their implementation in microcomputer systems. The intrinsic present parameters of the system have been obtained. The efficacy, as regards accuracy and rapidity, of the proposed on-line identification algorithms has been proved by means of various simulation tests. A hardware structure of a microcomputer identifier is briefly proposed referring to a possible adaptive two level control system approach.
