Potentiometric studies on the quaternary system Cu 2+ -M 2+ -apox 2 -H + (M=Mn, Co, Ni, Zn, Cd; apox 2- =diainon of N,N'-bis(3-aminopropyl)oxamide, C 8 H 18 N 4 O 2 (L 2- )) have been carried out at 25 o C and 0.1 mol dm -3 NaNO 3 . The proton association constants corresponding to the equilibria L 2- +jH + ↔H j L (j-2)+ (β j ) were round to be log β 2 =24.0 (2) log β 2 =43.60 (2)
