DESIGN OF HUMAN-WORN ASSISTIVE DEVICES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

This paper presents examples of a class of human-worn manipulation aids for people with disabilities, and a paradigm for the cost-effective design and manufacture of such devices. Also discussed is a software design environment that integrates a variety of support tools to facilitate human-centered
