Research on ECU Control Parameters Calibration System for Dual-Fuel Automobile

An ECU control parameters calibration system for dual-fuel automobile was developed. The communication between calibration platform(PC computer) and ECU was established by using the serial port service program complied with VB and dynamic data exchange (DDE) protocol. The modified control parameters were saved in EEPROM. A friendly man-machine interface was developed to implement the functions of control parameters on-line receiving and sending, data tendency analysis, recording and acquiring history data etc. by using VB and 'Kingview 6. 0'. This system offered a convenient instrument for ECU control parameters calibration and experiment matching. The vehicle test results show that the system have features of easy operation, reliable and accurate data collection and can meet the requirements of ECU control parameters calibration.
