A Network Coded Interference Coordination Scheme in Cellular Relay Systems

To decrease the inter-relay interference, a cooperative analog network coded amplify-and-forward relay transmission scheme is presented in this letter, where the base station can decode the desired messages of the relay-edge users in the cross-covered coverage of adjacent relay nodes correctly with interference coordination. The proposal can decrease the occupation of uplink radio resource blocks from 4 to 3 when 2 relay-edge users are served. The traditional relay transmission schemes are compared with the proposal, and the outage probabilities are derived and analyzed. The numerical results show that our proposal can have a significant performance gain.
