A STUDY OF ENVIRONMENT CHANGE AND ITS IMPACTS IN WESTERN CHINA

This paper comprehensively discusses the climate and environment change in western China and its impact on socio\|economic aspects with a special emphasis on evolutive characteristics of the effects of human activity and global warming. According to the study methodology of IPCC, using global atmosphere\|ocean coupling models, climate scenarios for 2010,2030 and 2050 are given. The vulnerability for ecology and economic aspects in western China is also analyzed. At last, a strategy with twin wins in ecology protection and socio\|economic development has been proposed.
