Application of Dynamic Programming on Coordination Control of Strip Shape and Thickness in Hot Continuous Rolling Based on MATLAB

According to the important role of technologies of shape control in the process of board strip production,a new method was presented to optimize rolling schedule in hot tandem rolling by analyzing and studying the analytical theory for shape stiffness.Based on researching measurement and control model of new type shape,the mathematical model optimized by dynamic programming was presented,and plate convexity and flatness of the minimum and optimal variance of objective function was obtained by adopting reverse scheduling algorithm of dynamic programming.The whole optimization process achieves fine-adjustment for the thickness of plating through regulating rolling reduction and the optimization results basically achieves the purpose of coordination controlling strip shape and thickness.It provides a new idea and method for improving technologies of shape control,which has certain value in practice.
