Principles of Mri

This book presents background information and focuses on the role of MR imaging in diagnosis. It also discusses the physics of MR imaging. Generation of the MR signal, formation of spin and gradient echoes, and spatial encoding with gradients are described. The relationships among image contrast, tissue relaxation, and pulse-sequence timing parameters are discussed.
