Agent-Based Supply Chain Event Management

Supply chain event management provides timely event-related information on disruptions and malfunctions in operational fulfillment processes,which enable enterprises to take corrective actions. However,since supply chain event management system doesn’t have the ability of communication,it gains limited information. But Agent has the strong ability of communication. Through exchanging information between Agents automatically,it can gain the information to the largest extend,based on which a framework of agentbased supply chain event system is proposed and we discuss the communication between agents based on XML.
