The on-line damage detecting system is characterized by comprising a picture collecting subsystem, a data transmission and processing subsystem, a state monitoring and fault diagnostic service subsystem, and a monitoring diagnostic work station, wherein the picture collecting subsystem is connected with the data transmission and processing subsystem through a cable; the data transmission and processing subsystem is connected with the state monitoring and fault diagnostic service subsystem through an optical fibre; and the state monitoring and fault diagnostic service subsystem is connected with the monitoring diagnostic work station through an optical fibre network or a wireless network.
