MED2: How Domain Characteristics Induce Expert System Features

We present the integration of mechanisms handling uncertain and incomplete data, data gathering, time-dependant and anatomical reasoning into the expert system shell MED2 for (medical) diagnosis. Special attention is given to explain the adequateness of system features for domain characteristies.
