Photopolymer hologram formation theory

A backward-difference technique for the numerical solution of a nonlinear diffusion equation describing photopolymer hologram for mation is described. The monomer concentration, the net polymerization, and mass density changes are calculated and plotted as a function of the hologram's extent.
