Multibaseline Interferometry for Natural Scatterer Characterization

Permanent Scatterer analysis relies on two strong hypotheses about the scatterer: high temporal as well as geometric coherence. During the last years these hypotheses made it possible to exploit long series of SAR images, through the estimation and removal of the Atmosferic Phase Screens (APS). Building on traditional PS analysis it may now be possible to relax the said hypotheses in order to consider and recover information over non-ideal targets, such as many natural targets which do not fulfil the PS stability requirements.
