Analysis of CDMA and TDMA for 3rd generation mobile radio systems

This paper investigates the performance of CDMA and TDMA multiple access techniques for 3rd generation wireless systems. In the analysis we use the GSM/DCS air interface and its future enhancements, and a wideband CDMA air interface exploiting multiuser detection (WB-CDMA).
