Visual knowledge processing techniques: A brief review

This paper describes the state of the art in knowledge structuring techniques. A classification of the most popular methods and tools is proposed. Stress is put on visual techniques as a powerful mind tool. Object-structured analysis, which works as a knowledge-stratification method, is discussed.
