Random access with channel and time division for TD-LTE trunking system

In a trunking communication system, users' access is highly unexpected. When the high intensity of users' access burst, it will result in access failure for unwanted access collisions. To the problem, with the characteristics of trunking communication, we propose an efficient access strategy which divides users by choose of channels and sending time according to users' priority. Compared with the general method, simulations performed validate that the proposed approach attains an appropriate average access success rate and average access delay, while ensuring the high-priority users having a higher access success rate and lower access delay when the access intensity is too strong.
