ICTs integration in education: mobile learning and the technology acceptance model (TAM)

The present communication describes the design of a study on the acceptance of mobile technologies among primary education teachers of Castilla y León. The investigation design is based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) conceived by Davis in which the perceived usefulness and the perceived ease of use are the key factors that explain the acceptance of a technological innovation. A series of constructs have been incorporated to Davis' model in order to take into consideration the influence of other factors, both intrinsic and extrinsic. Following this new model, we have drawn up an instrument, which is currently in the validation stage.
