Field demonstration of 100-Gb/s real-time coherent optical OFDM detection

The field demonstration of 100-Gb/s real-time CO-OFDM detection is reported for the first time. The paper includes the lowest BER of 5×10-9 for the back-back transmission and the successful 496-km transmission over field installed fiber.
