Software agents model in CSCW

Computer-supported cooperative work (CSCW) means a collection of people execute certain common task under human-computer interface sharing environment. Cooperation is its characteristic which differs from other systems such as office automation. Agents in CSCW are autonomous and interactive. On the basis of concurrent object, multi-agent systems and agent-oriented programming, this paper presents the software agents' model in CSCW, including the internal behavior and external relationship among agents. This model conforms to the autonomous and interactive demands of software entities in CSCW. An example is also given.
