Keyboard key and manufacturing method thereof

The invention provides a keyboard key which belongs to the field of a keyboard of handheld electronic equipment; the keyboard key comprises a key body layer, a first color layer, a protective layer, a second color layer, a finishing paint layer and a UV (Ultraviolet) layer which are sequentially superposed from bottom to top; a first through hole which corresponds to a first character to be formed in shape is arranged on the finishing paint layer and the second color layer; and a second through hole which corresponds to a second character in shape to be formed is also arranged on the finishing paint layer. In addition, the invention also provides a manufacturing method of the keyboard key; according to the manufacturing method, the first color layer and the second color layer are respectively designed into two layers, thereby the detect that when the two color layers are butt-jointed in the traditional method, eight-split optical to all-optical keyboards can not be manufactured due to gaps and steps is avoided; and according to the method, eight-optical to all-optical high gloss keyboard keys can be manufactured.
