The performances of motors are quite different from the common motor when the speed is very high.PI controller is widely used in the speed of traditional motor.The adjustable speed of motor might has the disadvantages of over-shoot,unstability and so on,which cannot meet the need of high performance.To overcome some defects of PI control and optimize the performance of motors,taking the high speed permanent magnet machines as an example,the fuzzy sliding variable structure control in application of PMSM is introduced in this paper.The method is simple,it also improves the performance of motor and has not only fast dynamic response but also high steady-state accurancy.The simulation results demonstrate that the method can estimate the rotate speed correctly,and has strong robustness to the variation of load and rotational inertia.The over-shoot of the PI controller and the fluctuation of the motor is small.
