THE TRANSIENT EXPERT PROCESSOR

The Transient Expert Processor (TEP) is a real-time rule-based system which automatically forms high-order semantic interpretations of sequences of transient energies detected by front-end signal processing. In this paper, the transient aggregation problem is described and an inferential model is proposed. Three different implementation techniques for this inferential model are described and compared.
