A novel synchronous reluctance motor with outer rotor for an electric bike

This paper presents the design and analysis of the performance of an electrical machine proposed to use for the propulsion of an electric bike. The electrical machine under study in this paper is a flux synchronous reluctance machine (SynRM) with outer rotor. The study design requires the analytical analysis in SPEED program, followed by a numerical one (Flux 2D) in order to obtain the performances of the proposed machine.
