Mobile Detection Based on Histogram Difference

An original method for mobile detection in digital images is presented. A brief revision of related work in the context of road transportation is introduced first. The problems of the, nearly unique, method to date -image difference algorithm (IDA)- are studied next. A new method based on the analysis of the histogram differences is proposed. Finally, the results of the tests the system developed has gone through are commented.
