Stochastic extinction and reserve size: a focal species approach

Les fluctuations de populations qui s'effectuent au hasard peuvent conduire les especes menacees a une extinction. On examine le modele de populations d'une espece rare focale (non citee) dont l'abondance varie suivant un analogue stochastique du logistique pour determiner si une reserve de grandes dimensions ou deux petites reserves de la meme surface totale sont a preferer pour prevenir ou retarder l'extinction d'une espece focale
