SysteMatic and automatic road traffic junction

In this paper we propose a novel architecture for creating Intelligent Traffic Control Systems (ITCS). The vehicle works in two modes mainly Normal mode and Emergency mode. The signal which will be displayed on the signal poll will be displayed on the vehicle itself for driver's convenience. Here Image processing technique is used to sense the traffic density of every road in the junction and release the heavily dense road frequently. The vehicle is provided with automatic braking system in case of obstacles coming in the way from which the damage caused to the pedestrian, driver and vehicle will be avoided. The Traffic police is facilitated with the buzzer system at in case if traffic rules are broken. GPS/GSM technologies are used in the project which gives information about road accidents and in case the vehicle is stolen. The efficiency of our proposed system lies in the fact that this system operates traffic signals based on the current situation of vehicular volume in different directions of a road crossing and not on pre-assigned times.
