Probe into Photovoltaic Cell Maximum Power Point Tracking Based on Improved Perturbation Method

This article introduces the mathematical and circuit model for photovoltaic cells used in engineering,and estabhshes the simulation model using Matlab/Simulink software based on the engineering parameters of the photovoltaic cells and Matlab Embebed function.The improved algorithm is proposed based on traditional perturbation and observation method,and the curves of maximum power point tracking are acquired by simulation.Comparing with the curves before and after improving,the result shows that the improved method can suppress the oscillation of the maximum power point tracking,reduce the tracking time and perturbation times, and make the photovoltaic cells performance better.
