Analytical Survey on Standards of Internet of Things Framework and Platforms

The Internet of things platforms, which are also sometimes called IoT middleware, are the software that activates different hardware components and/or devices of the Internet of things. It is the software which makes the bridge between data and device of the IoT platform. The goal of this research is that we study different standard IoT platforms and analyze the efficiency and suitability of these platforms. IoT platforms generate large amount of data that require acquisition, organization, transformation, processing, and analysis. This puts emphasis on cloud-based IoT platform with huge user base that makes the platform robust and applicable in our home, automobiles, smart city, smartphone, manufacturing equipments, etc. The goal of this paper is to study and analyze several available platforms and frameworks which are used to design and develop different IoT applications.
